From Streets to Homes - Dorothy's Place

50 people in desperate need of homes. 4 social workers needed to change their lives. 1 person can make a difference. That person can be you. We invite you to help us make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness in our area. Currently we have 50 people in desperate need of a place to live and on a waiting list to receive the help needed to get them into their own home. Why are they on a waiting list? Well, we are without the needed staff to guide them through the process that will get them the housing they deserve. Our social workers are guiding over 60 others and though they’d love to help the 50 who are on the waiting list, they don’t have enough time in the day to do so. Therefore, we need to hire 4 social workers and must raise $100,000 to do so. That’s why we’re turning to you. We believe in the power of fundraising and community support. We know that every donation, small or large, makes a huge impact. So, we invite you to help make a difference in the lives of 50 people who are without homes right now.
